A prayer circle was held for the two men injured when the Silver Trail Distillery in Hardin, Kentucky exploded last week.
Kyle Rogers and Jay Rogers are both being treated at Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville.
A Caring Bridge page created for Kyle says he made it through surgery Thursday afternoon. Sadly, doctors and family decided to remove his foot. On Friday, they will have to remove more burns from his upper body.
We do not have an update on Jay's condition.
Thursday night a prayer circle was held in front of the CFSB Center in Murray, Kentucky. About 30 people showed up to show their support for the two men.
"Hopefully this will help Kyle pull through and be back here with us before too long," said Prayer Circle Organizer, Aaron Moody.
Moody says they held the prayer circle in front of the CFSB Center because Kyle was the voice of the Lady Racers for several years.
There's another event coming up if you would like to help Kyle and Jay.
On May 9, the Aurora Ross Fire Department Auxiliary will host an all you can eat spaghetti supper. It will be at the Aurora Ross Fire Department at 8280 Aurora Highway in Benton, Kentucky from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Dinner is $6.
