Over 100 pounds of marijuana found during routine traffic stop

HENRY COUNTY, TN - Over 100 pounds of marijuana was found during a routine traffic stop in Henry County, Tennessee.

Henry County Sheriff Monte Belew says a vehicle was pulled over Thursday night at the intersection of Highway 79 South and Highway 218 for a headlight violation.

Inside the vehicle, deputies found 95 packages of marijuana, weighing a total of 115 pounds, and $2,400 in cash.

The marijuana is worth between $300,000 and $500,000.

Sheriff Belew says this is the biggest marijuana bust in Henry County history.

The driver, 30-year-old Isaac Conger, was arrested. He has an Arizona driver's license.

Conger is charged with felony possession of drugs. He will be arranged in court on Tuesday. 

An investigation is ongoing.
