MCCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky. -
McCracken County deputies arrested 63 year-old Albert Baker after he admitted he tried to set his house on fire with three people inside.
On Sunday, deputies responded to the 3400 block of Cook Street after getting a call about a fire at the back of a house. Baker's niece told deputies she kicked him out of the house Saturday because he was intoxicated.
Deputies say he returned several times throughout the night to regain entry. Baker's niece, her 14 year-old daughter and another man were home and awoke to the sound of smoke alarms going off and smoke inside the home. The back door was set on fire.
Deputies charged him with arson, alcohol intoxication and three counts of wanton endangerment. No one was hurt.
