PADUCAH, KY -

More jobs are coming to Paducah.

Whitehall Industries, an automotive plant, plans to increase its workforce by around 40 people.

A ribbon cutting ceremony was held Wednesday at the plant on Commerce Drive. However, they've been open since December of 2013.

The plant manager says it took a while to completely finish the inside of the building and hire everyone.

The plan has over 100,000 square feet of manufacturing space and an expansion may be on the way.

The owner of the company says the plant is making parts for cars out of aluminum.

The company manufactures parts for GMC, Ford, Nissan, and Tesla. Right now they have around 110 employees are they hope to have 40 more hired by the end of the year.

If you would like to apply for a job, you must apply with a temp agency and then be considered for full-time employment after 90 days.
