Funeral services set for teen who died at football practice

HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. -

Gamble Funeral Home in Hopkinsville tells Local 6 funeral services are finalized for Jayvon Quarles.  Police say 17-year-old Quarles died as a result of blunt force trauma to his head Thursday afternoon. He was helping move a large heavy piece of metal football equipment just before 4 p.m. at the Hopkinsville Middle School practice field when equipment fell and hit his head. 

Visitation will be Saturday, August 22nd from 10am-1pm at the gymnasium of Hopkinsville High School.  Funeral service will follow at 1pm also inside the gym.
