A three car crash at the intersection of US 60 and Maxon Road sent two people to the hospital.
McCracken County deputies say Thelma Carlton, 82, of Paducah, was driving southbound on Maxon Road when she failed to yield to oncoming traffic going westbound on US 60.
When Carlton began to cross over US 60, deputies say she drove into the path of Crystal Piper, 28, and Michael Piper, 32, both of Barlow, hitting their vehicle, a 2006 Scion.
Piper's vehicle then struck the middle guardrail. Henry Coffelt, 20, of Paducah, who was also traveling westbound on US 60, attempted to avoid the collision in front of him but lost control crossing over into eastbound lanes striking the guardrail.
Both Coffelt and Carlton were taken to local hospitals for non-life threatening injuries.
