Here are six things to know for today.

Ryan Champion and his ex-girlfriend stand before a judge. Champion faces murder charges for the deaths of his sister, parent, and another man. Ann Plotkin is charged with three counts of complicity to murder.

Rowan County Clerk Kim Davis is suing Kentucky Governor Steve Beshear. The suit claims Governor Beshear is violating her right to religious freedom by requiring Davis to issue marriage licenses to same sex couples.

Marshall County fiscal court will vote on their alcohol ordinance for the last time today. County leaders decided earlier this month that stores must stay 1,000 feet away from any church, school, or daycare. Restaurants can also serve alcohol by the drink from 1:00 p.m. - Midnight on Sundays.

Apple's new iPhone 6S and 6S Plus are now available in stores. The new versions look the same as the previous generation, but include new features like 3D touch and a better camera.

A lane restriction is expected on the Eggners Ferry Bridge this morning. Crews will be working at US 68 and KY 80. The work is expected to be finished by 5:00 p.m.
