After crashing it, Barber stole another car and led police on a chase.

Police found Barber in the cellar of a home after they found the car abandoned in a field.

Barber was taken to a hospital in Evansville for treatment of a gunshot wound to the chest.

He was released and taken to the Henderson County Detention Center.

Barber has been charged with wanton endangerment of a police officer, fleeing/evading police, theft by unlawful taking, and burglary.
