JOHNSON COUNTY, IL -

Police in southern Illinois say a financial identity theft case is more widespread than first thought.

Vienna Police and the Johnson County Sheriff's Department have released two images of men they believe are suspects in this case. Those pictures were captured on surveillance video at the Walmart in Anna, IL. The pictures are posted to the left of this article.

Police now say more local victims have been discovered. Initially, they thought it only impacted a victim in Vienna. Now, they believe people were targeted at the Walmarts in Anna and Marion, IL, and the Walmart in Paducah, KY.

Police ask that you please take the time to look over your bank statements carefully.

If you know any information about the men pictures, or if you think you may have been a victim of financial identity theft, contact your local law enforcement agency. You can also contact the Johnson County, IL Sheriff's Department. Their number is (618) 658-8264.
