Holly Bobo case being delayed

Posted: Updated:

The three men charged in the murder of Holly Bobo won't take the stand for at least another year.

The attorneys representing Zack Adams, his brother Dylan, and Jason Autry spoke to a judge this week.

Judge Creed McGinley says he wants to wait until 2017.

At that point, it will have been three years since Bobo's body was found in rural Decatur County, Tennessee.

What's holding up the case: the amount of evidence and the number of witnesses.

Attorneys say the witness list has 600 names on it.

The state is filing a motion asking to try Dylan Adams separately from the other two.

They say Dylan made 5 statements to police where he implicated the others.

The state can't use those if the three are tried together.

The next status hearing is set for March 2nd.
