Here are six things to know for today.

We have the funeral arrangements for Larry and Roxann McRoy. Their bodies were found earlier this week on the banks of the Mississippi River, near Dorena, Missouri. The funeral will be held today at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Missouri State Veterans Cemetery at Bloomfield.

The man accused of raping and killing a 7-year-old girl in Kentucky will be in court today for his arraignment. 38-year-old Timothy Madden is charged with murder, kidnapping, and first degree rape and sodomy of 7-year-old Gabbi Doolin.

A new hog farm ordinance could go into effect today in Graves County, if it passes a second reading. The new ordinance county leaders are considering requires new hog farm to be at least 2,500 feet from homes and public buildings.

Kentucky governor Steve Beshear will be making one of his last stops as governor to Paducah today. He's expected to join city leaders for an announcement on the riverfront. That announcement is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. at the Julian Carroll Convention Center.

Police in Carbondale will be holding a forum tonight to improve their relationship with you. The forum will have an open discussion of topics including youth outreach, use of force, and how police handle the homeless. If you are interested in attending the forum, it begins at 6:00 p.m. at the Carbondale Civic Center.

You will see an increased police presence in Kentucky this week. KSP will start operation RAID today, which stands for remove aggressive, impaired, and distracted drivers. KSP will also have safety checkpoints throughout the area this week and into next weekend.
