WILLIAMSON COUNTY, IL -

UPDATE: The Williamson County Sheriff's Office says the search for a woman who went missing over the weekend with canine and search-and-rescue crews came up empty Wednesday.

The sheriff's office says it'll conduct an aerial search later this afternoon.

Police are still looking for a woman who went missing over the weekend in Williamson County.

The Williamson County Sheriff's Office says 22-year-old Jeannie Schuur walked away from a friend's home on Modesto Road in the early morning hours of Saturday, November 21st.

A neighborhood canvas was conducted Tuesday, but nothing new was found.

Police also searched abandoned buildings near where Jeannie was last seen but also found nothing.

Another area-search will take place with canine search-and-rescue crews on Wednesday.

The volunteers will search the wooded areas near San Francisco Road, near where Jeannie was last seen by a neighbor.

Jeannie is 5 feet tall, 100 pounds, with blue eyes and brown hair.

She was last seen wearing a dark blue hoodie with white writing, white sweat-pants, red slip-on shoes, and carrying a red purse. She does not have her cell phone with her.

Anyone with information on Jeannie's whereabouts is asked to call the Williamson County Sheriff's Office at (618) 997-6541.
