HOPKINS COUNTY, Ky. -

A report of a suspicious vehicle led to the arrest of three people in Hopkins County on Sunday.

A deputy with the Hopkins County Sheriff's Office says the complaint led him to a home on Osborn Lane in Madisonville.

The deputy said he smelled a strong odor of marijuana coming from inside the home and was able to obtain a search warrant.

Inside, deputies found a large amount of marijuana, synthetic marijuana, and methamphetamine.

Items associated with drug trafficking, drug paraphernalia, and a stolen firearm were also found inside the home.

33-year-old Joseph Franklin, 28-year-old Dakota Scott, and 23-year-old Kayla Callbreath, all of Madisonville, were arrested.

All three face various charges of trafficking marijuana, trafficking methamphetamine, possession of a firearm by convicted felon, receiving stolen property, possession of a defaced firearm, possession of drug paraphernalia, and promoting contraband.

They were all taken to the Hopkins County Detention Center.
