GRAVES COUNTY, KY -

Three people were arrested on drug and firearm charges Monday night in Graves County.

The Graves County Sheriff's Office says around 8:00 p.m. they got a call of a man walking along New Hope Church Road with a gun pointed to his head.

Officers found 46-year-old John Willoughby of Murray in the area.

Willoughby did not have a firearm but deputies say he did throw a small container into the grass besides him.

The small vial contained methamphetamine.

Deputies obtained a search warrant for a nearby home that Willoughby had been staying in for the last few days.

Inside, they found methamphetamine, marijuana, a large amount of cash believed to be the proceeds of illegal drug sales, and several firearms.

Glass pipes containing methamphetamine were also found in the children's room of the house and small children were present during the search.

Willoughby was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance 1st degree methamphetamine, tampering with physical evidence, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Also arrested were 28-year-old Jessica Shelbourne and 35-year-old Colby Mitchell both of Mayfield.

Shelbourne was charged with trafficking controlled substance 1st degree, possession of marijuana, and endangering the welfare of a minor.

Mitchell was charged with trafficking controlled substance 1st degree, possession of firearm and handgun by convicted felon, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and endangering the welfare of a minor.

All three were taken to the Graves County Jail.
