Here are six things to know for today.

Voters in the Hendron 3 precinct in McCracken County will decide if they want alcohol sales in their district today. The special election is limited only to people living in that precinct. The polls will be open until 6:00 p.m.

If you live in southern Illinois, a family needs your help finding their missing daughter. Taylor Greenrod's parents reported her missing yesterday, saying she left their Desoto, Illinois home to visit a friend but never returned. If you know where Taylor Greenrod is, call the Jackson County Sheriff's Department at 618-684-2177.

A second quilt show could be coming to Paducah. City commissioners will consider a resolution in support of an additional show during tonight's meeting. It would start as early as 2017.

The man who pleaded guilty to making bomb threats in a self-declared war on Southern Illinois University will be sentenced today. Investigators say Derrick Dawon Burns mailed threats of beheadings, bombing, and other attacks to SIU's Carbondale campus in 2012 and 2013. Burns faces up to 40 years in prison.

Thursday, December 10, is the final day former Daymar College students can file settlement claim forms with the Attorney General's Office of Consumer Protection. The settlement is for students who attended the college between 2006 and 2011.

Matt Bevin is officially the 62nd governor of Kentucky. Bevin was sworn in at a private ceremony just after midnight. Today there will be a parade and a public swearing in ceremony at the capitol.
