Man sentenced for home invasion, meth-making charges in Union County, Ill.

UNION COUNTY, IL -

A Jonesboro, Illinois, man has been sentenced to 10 years in prison after pleading guilty in two cases, the Union County state's attorney's office announced Thursday.

Bryon Turner of Jonesboro, Illinois, was sentenced to serve six years for a count of home invasion and four years for a count of unlawful participation in methamphetamine manufacturing. The sentences will run consecutively . 

Sheriff's deputies arrested him in October under allegations he broke into a home and attacked someone who lived there.
