Here are six things to know for today.

The City of Baltimore is on edge this morning as the jury struggles to find a verdict in the trial of Baltimore Police Office William Porter. He's the first officer on trial in the Freddie Gray manslaughter case. Jurors will begin their third day of deliberations today.

Former Kentucky Agriculture Commissioner Richie Farmer will be released from prison on Friday. Farmer was sentenced to 27 months in federal prison in January 2014 after being found guilty of 42 ethics violations.

Over 600,000 students will head back to school today in Los Angeles after a terror threat shut down the entire school district yesterday. The LAPD says there will be an increased police presence on all the school campuses today.

Starting tomorrow morning at 7:00 a.m. Kohl's will stay open for 170 hours straight. That means at any hour of the night you can get your shopping done until 6:00 p.m. Christmas Eve.

You can help Paducah Power "Stuff the Truck" again today. The truck will be at Baptist Health's Imaging Center from 7:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Last year, the drive collected more than 100,000 pounds of food.
