Rising waters are causing problems for some drivers.
Around 12 a.m. on Thursday, crews set up barricades in Ballard County, Kentucky, closing down two sections of U.S. 51.
For Alex Polzella, who's trying to get to Memphis, it's the third time he's been rerouted because of flooding.
"I'm generally pretty patient, so it doesn't bother me that much, but I can understand that might be frustrating for other people who might want to get somewhere in a hurry," Polzella said. "But I'm just trying to take it easy and be safe."
