A Swiss air force plane carrying three Americans released by Iran has landed in Geneva.
A Swiss Foreign Ministry spokesman confirmed that the jet that touched down after dark Sunday was the one with the Americans on board. From Geneva, they are to be flown to a U.S. air base in Germany.
U.S. officials have said Washington Post reporter Jason Rezaian, former U.S. Marine Amir Hekmati, and pastor Saeed Abedini were on the flight, but a fourth freed American, Nosratollah Khosravi-Roodsari, was not.
A fifth American, student Matthew Trevithick was released independently of the larger swap, and already had headed home.
