Cougars have officially been seen in Tennessee.

The Tennessee Wildlife Resource Agency has set up a page you can look at with information about North America’s largest feline species, including information on sightings in the Volunteer State.

The TWRA site lists four confirmed cougar sightings in three Tennessee counties. One of the sightings is from Obion County in September. The image of the cat was captured on a trail camera.

TWRA also has a map where you can view cougar sightings. To see it, click here.
