Here are six things to know for today.

Ambrea Shanks is expected to be sentenced today. Shanks pleaded guilty to hindering prosecution back in January. She was in the car that was pulled over the night Kentucky State Trooper Cameron Ponder was shot and killed.

Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders will take part in a town hall forum tonight in Detroit, one day after their debate in Flint, Michigan. Michigan will hold its primary tomorrow.

The jury in the civil suit brought by sports reporter Erin Andrews is expected to start deliberations today. Andrews is suing the Nashville Marriott at Vanderbilt and her convicted stalker, Michael Barrett, for $75 million.

At least 60 people are dead after a truck packed with explosives was set off near a security checkpoint in Iraq. It's the third suicide bombing for the city of Baghdad in the last week. ISIS has claimed responsibility. 

After 18 years in the NFL, Payton Manning says he is retiring from professional football. Manning will host a news conference today at Noon to discuss his decision to retire. Manning played his first 14 seasons with the Indianapolis Colts, before spending his last three in Denver.

Today is National Cereal Day. Of the more than 314 million people in the U.S., 49 per cent start their day with a bowl of cereal.
