Here are six things to know for today.

The Republicans are campaigning across Florida today after a civil debate last night in Miami. Immigration and social security were some of the topics discussed last night, instead of insults and shouting.

You'll get one less hour of sleep this week. Don't forget to set your clocks forward before you got to bed Saturday night for Daylight Saving Time.

Funeral services will be held today for former first lady Nancy Reagan. She will be buried next to her husband at the Ronald Reagan Library this afternoon.

Students at John A. Logan College will meet this morning at the administration building on campus to hold a protest. They're fighting against planned faculty layoffs at the school. The board of trustees voted to lay off 55 faculty and staff members to help close a $10 million budget gap.

Mandatory evacuations have been issued along the Texas/Louisiana boarder this morning. The area has been dealing with extreme flooding. The National Weather Service is calling this a life-threatening event.

The Murray High girls basketball team is one step closer to bringing home a state championship. They'll play Owensboro Catholic at 5:30 p.m. in the quarterfinals tonight.
