By Staff report
Entrepreneurs who make products in the United States have the chance to pitch their wares to Wal-Mart buyers at an event at the company's headquarters in June. Wal-Mart announced Tuesday that registration for the event has begun.
The daylong event will be held at Wal-Mart's global headquarters in Bentonville, Arkansas on June 28.
"We are opening our doors and making our buyers available to meet with suppliers with one goal in mind: buy more American products,” Cindi Marsiglio, Wal-Mart’s vice president of U.S. Sourcing and Manufacturing, said in Tuesday's news release. “From food to toys to apparel, and companies large and small from coast to coast, we want to make a deal with you for your U.S. made products.”
The deadline to register for the event, called Open Call, is May 27. For more information and to register for the event, click here.
