Hundreds of people crowded the streets for the 173rd Tater Day parade in Benton, Kentucky, Monday.
Patrol cars made their way up the road in honor of this year's theme: remember our troops. About 10,000 people enjoyed the festivities. From the food, carnival rides and pop-up shops Teela Etheridge says it's a small town American tradition.
"It's a lot of southern pride in one way or another...It's just a good time for everyone to come out and be together and have a corn dog," Etheridge says.
