Wisconsin may have been the focus yesterday with its presidential elections, but Missouri also took part with its municipal elections.Here are some of the local key issues voted on.People in Cape Girardeau and Jackson voted on whether to extend the current tax on certain vehicles. They also voted "yes" or "no" on the "use tax" issue.In Cape Girardeau, voters pushed through the vehicle tax issue. "Yes" votes won 57% to 43%.But voters said no to the "use tax" with 57% "no" to 43% "yes."Over in Jackson, voters there also voted "yes" for the vehicle tax with a 59% to 41% vote.They also voted not to implement the "use tax." Jackson voters said "no" with 55% to 45% of the votes.
