GRAVES COUNTY, KY -

A fugitive is back in custody and multiple people face drug charges in Graves County after one man tried to run over another with his car.

David Sowers, who was wanted by Graves County sheriff's deputies for several days, faces wanton endangerment first degree, public intoxication and contempt of court. Chelsea Martin, Gregory Tomasek Jr. And Stephen Blassingame all face various charges, including possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine and cocaine). Blassingame is charged with possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.

Sheriff Dewayne Redmon says the four were arrested in Sedalia when deputies responded to a disturbance call. Blassingame told the sheriff that Sowers tried to run over him with his car while he was loading items onto a trailer at Sowers' home. Blassingame is then accused of pulling out a gun and pointing it at Sowers in self defense.

Sowers left and called 911.

It turns out Sowers is a fugitive. Deputies say he had called the sheriff's department multiple times to turn himself in, but never showed up for his arrest.

Martin and her two year old daughter were inside the house. Deputies say she consented to a search of the home, where they found methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

Deputies say a few minutes later, Tomasek showed up to pick up the child, and admitted to them he had recently used meth.

When deputies searched Blassingame's car, they say they found meth and drug paraphernalia, along with two handguns.

Sowers was searched at the Graves County Jail. Staff found marijuana in his pants.
