PADUCAH, KY -

Paducah police say they want your help locating a Mayfield man charged with forgery of a prescription for a controlled substance.

Police say 25-year-old Joshua Kindle tried to fill a prescription for promethazine with codeine. But the prescribing doctor told a pharmacy staff member — who was suspicious and called the physician —  that the prescription was written for promethazine, but not with codeine. That's when police say Kindle fled the pharmacy, leaving the forged prescription behind.

A McCracken County grand jury has indicted Kindle on the charge of forgery of a prescription for a controlled substance.

If you have information about where Kindle is, you can call the Paducah Police Department at 270-444-8550 or Crime Stoppers at 443-TELL. To access the online tip form, click here.
