Here are six things to know for today.

A strong aftershock hit Ecuador overnight. The 6.1 magnitude jolt is the strongest aftershock since the earthquake. The massive 7.8-magnitude quake killed more than 500 people.

Today, Michigan's top prosecutor will announce criminal charges against two state regulators and a Flint employee, alleging wrongdoing related to the city's lead-tainted water crisis.

Mitsubishi Motors Corp. says it found evidence its employees falsified fuel mileage test data for several models of vehicles. The problem was found after Nissan pointed out inconsistencies in data.

Tennessee lawmakers will vote today on an effort to override Governor Bill Haslam's veto against a measure to make the Bible the state's official book. Both chambers need only a majority to override the veto.
