Posted: Updated:

A local man was taken to a hospital after a motorcycle wreck in McCracken County Thursday, according to the sheriff's department.

Deputies responded to the wreck around 11:37 a.m. Thursday in the 300 block of South Friendship Road. They found Joseph Dreblow of Paducah lying in the roadway next to his motorcycle with injuries described as non-incapacitating.

Deputies say Dreblow told them he lost control of the motorcycle when he had to brake for a school bus stopped with lights flashing.  The motorcycle went onto its side when he hit the brakes.

Dreblow was taken to Baptist Health Paducah by Mercy Regional EMS. Also assisting at the scene was Lone Oak Fire Department. Deputies note Dreblow was wearing a helmet when the wreck happened.
