WILLIAMSON COUNTY, IL -

A Cambria woman was charged Tuesday with conspiracy to distribute a substance containing MDMA, Active U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Illinois James Porter says.

MDMA — short for 3,4-Methylenedioxymethamphetamine — is the synthetic drug found in Ecstasy or Molly. The charge carries a penalty of up to 20 years in federal prison.

Porter says 29-year-old Natasha Mann was charged by indictment, and the indictment accuses her of committing the offense between December 2015 and March 22, 2016, in Williamson County.

Mann is scheduled to make her first federal court appearance on May 5.
