The Kentucky State Police is investigating a shooting that occurred on I-69 at approximately the 110 mile marker around 5:30pm Saturday.

Police say Robert Wilke, 38, from Henderson, was repossessing a 2006 Chrysler van on Russ Hill Road in Nortonville. The owner of the van, Tony Strunk, 49, of Nortonville, and his son, Marcus Strunk, 24, of Nortonville, gave chase in a 2003 GMC Yukon SUV.

Police say the Yukon pulled along the passenger side of the van and intentionally collided into Wilke causing both vehicles to stop in the median of I-69. Tony Strunk and Marcus Strunk both exited the Yukon and approached the van. Robert Wilke exited the van with a firearm and a physical altercation occurred. Robert Wilke shot Tony Strunk in the abdomen during the altercation.
