Area banks donate $5K to Graves County tornado relief

MAYFIELD, Ky. -
Two area banks have made a joint $5,000 donation to tornado relief efforts in Graves County.
First Kentucky Bank and FNB Bank announced the donation Friday. The announcement notes that both banks were founded in Mayfield, and said management teams from both felt it was important to help the tornado victims.
The banks say the funds are collected through the Mayfield Tornado Relief Fund and will be managed by a committee of local city and county officials. They say the committee will assess the needs of the families affected and focus on those without insurance and who need assistance to meet deductibles.
First Kentucky and FNB say monetary donations for the Mayfield Tornado Relief Fund will be accepted by His House Ministries and can be mailed to the following address:
