The family of Lane Graves will hold a special service at St. Patrick's Church in Elkhorn, Nebraska Thursday. Lane is the little boy dragged underwater by alligator in Florida while the family vacationed at Disney World. A priest at the church will also pray a rosary specifically for the Graves family.
Investigators in Florida say the boy's body was found Wednesday afternoon near the same lagoon where he was last seen. They believe the alligator drowned the little boy because his body was still intact. An autopsy has not been done yet.
NBC reports that animal control officials trapped and euthanized five alligators from that lagoon. They are working to find out if one of those alligators was the one that dragged and killed Graves. Officials said they couldn't study the animals adequately without killing them first.
The Graves family asks for their privacy during this time. The Florida investigators over this case, say this was a tragic accident. Disney officials say they're working with the family and authorities through this tragedy and extended their thoughts and prayers for the Graves family.
