SIKESTON, MO -

Police are looking for a Kansas man reported missing in Sikeston, Missouri, Tuesday morning.

The Sikeston Department of Public Safety says around 6 a.m. Tuesday the Days Inn on South Main Street in Sikeston called police about a man who didn't check out of the hotel on time. Police say the cleaning crew found belongings of 66-year-old Larry Weaver of Pittsburg, Kansas, in the hotel room, but he and his motorcycle were gone.

Police say Weaver's spouse told them Weaver had been traveling on his Black 2013 Harley Davidson Street Glide motorcycle.

Officers say some of the items left in the hotel room led them to believe something was wrong. Those items included his wallet, credit cards, some keys, cellphone, clothing and riding gear.

Police say they don't know if Weaver had some kind of medical event, an unseen motorcycle wreck or if he is a victim of foul play.

Weaver is described as standing 5 feet, 10 inches tall and weighing 185 pounds. His motorcycle has Kansas license plates “36A0Y” and hard saddle bags.

If you see Weaver or his bike, you can call Sikeston DPS at 573-471-4711.
