Paducah police arrest two McCracken County men after police say they went to a Paducah home Saturday morning and threatened to shoot the homeowner.
Officers were called to a report of a man with a gun on Springwell Lane and were told Reico Newberry was threatening Andrew McReynolds with a shotgun.
When officers arrived, they found Newberry and Devonte Nance backing out the driveway. They say Newberry got out of the car and ran from the scene. Nance was arrested at the scene. In the car, officers found two handguns and a shotgun. They were collected as evidence.
Newberry was found a short time later at his home on College Avenue. Police say Newberry had been sending text messages to McReynolds, threatening to come to his home and shoot him.
Newberry is charged with fleeing or evading police, first-degree wanton endangerment, tampering with physical evidence, third degree terroristic threatening and failure to notify the department of transportation of an address change.
Nance is charged with first-degree wanton endangerment.
