Five people were arrested in Graves County Wednesday after drug detectives conducted a search of a home and a traffic stop on Kentucky 1241, according to the sheriff's department.

Deputies say they responded last weekend to a complaint that a gun was fired inside a house and a bedroom window was shot out, but the person accused of firing the weapon had left before deputies arrived. An arrest warrant was made for 29-year-old Anthony Turner charging first degree wanton endangerment.

Thursday afternoon, deputies say they saw a motorcycle leave the home, and they recognized the driver as 37-year-old James Turner, for whom there was a warrant for bail jumping on a previous charge. He was stopped, and deputies say drug paraphernalia and methamphetamine were found in his possession.

While they were getting a search warrant for the home, deputies say they saw 27-year-old Danielle Miller-Turner leave in a vehicle with passenger Charles Derek Alhfield. The two were stopped on U.S. 45 near Interstate 69. There was an active warrant for Alhfield from McCracken County, and deputies say Circuit Judge Tim Stark had ordered Alhfield to stay out of Graves County until 2018.

Deputies say while that traffic stop was going on, the sheriff's department was alerted that Anthony Turner was headed towards them on U.S. 45. When they tried to stop him, deputies say Turner jumped a curb at a Marathon gas station and drove to where Miller-Turner and Alhfield had been stopped. After he was stopped, Anthony Turner was arrested and jailed in the Graves County Jail.

After getting a search warrant, detectives found 32-year-old April Pettigrew-Davis inside the home. Deputies say meth and drug paraphernalia were also found in the home.

The charges faced by each person arrested are:

James Turner: First degree possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, second degree bail-jumping, driving with no operators/motorcycle license

Anthony Turner: First degree possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, first degree wanton endangerment, reckless driving, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct.

Danielle Turner: First degree possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Charles Alhfield: First degree possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and two counts of contempt of court.

April Pettigrew-Davis: First degree possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
