Two people arrested, connected to the terror attack in Nice
Nice, France (CNN) -
CNN reports the arrests of two men police believe may be connected to the Bastille Day attack in Nice.
Agnes Thibault Lecuivre, the spokeswoman for Paris' Anti-Terrorism Prosecutor's office, said arrests happened Monday and both men remain in police custody. In a statement given to CNN, she said "these two arrests have been made while investigators are still trying to figure out who gave logistic support to the attacker in Nice."
Investigators say they've been working to determine the planning and executive of the deadly truck attack carried out by Mohamed Lahouaiej Bouhlel. Paris prosecutor Francois Molins said the investigation confirms the murderous premeditated nature of the act and established that he benefited from support and accomplices.
We already know ISIS claimed responsibility for the attack but there's no indication that Bouhlel and firm connections with the group.
