"It's amazing," says Swan. "These people are inspirational."
Swan says her biggest inspiration is Dylan Bailey, a boy who was diagnosed with cancer more than four years ago and was a patient at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
"Dylan was just an awesome kid to be around," says Swan.
Bailey died last month at 17 years old, and Swan is running in his memory. She's one of 200 people participating in the four day relay.
Regional Marketing Manager Mollie Shepherdson says it's the largest group they've had in 35 years.
"These people give up time away from their family, time away from work and they fundraise $3,000 to come run in the heat for the kids of St. Jude," says Shepherdson. "There's no better cause."
The group is running 465 miles. The runners started in Memphis on Wednesday morning and will arrive in Peoria, Illinois, on Saturday night. So far, this group has raised $1 million for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
