Here are six things to know for today.

Ryan Lochte and three other members of the U.S. Olympic swim team will give statements today regarding their report of an armed robbery while they were in Rio. A judge ordered three of the team members to stay in Rio. Lochte was already back in the U.S. when the judge's decision came down. Right now he will not have to travel back.

Firefighters have the Blue Cut fire in California 4% contained. The fire has burned 25,000 acres and forced 83,000 people out of their homes.

Thousands of people are without power in Washington D.C. after dangerous storms hit the area overnight. Power crews say they will work around the clock until all services are restored. There is no word on the cost of damages.

Thirteen people have died in floods in Louisiana. FEMA is trying to find rental properties and temporary housing for thousands of people homeless because of the floods.

Parts of downtown Dallas are closed this morning as authorities investigate reports of a triple shooting there. According to reports from an NBC affiliate there, the three people shot were injured and taken to local hospitals.

Twenty-five gold medals are waiting to be won at the Rio Olympics today, with the marque event featuring Usain Bolt in his favorite race, the 200 meter sprint. The Jamaican superstar is aiming for his 8th gold medal.
