Lonestar announced as first in Arts in Focus series in Paducah

PADUCAH, KY -

In Paducah, the Clemens Fine Arts Center's Arts in Focus series will start next month with a concert by country music band Lonestar, West Kentucky Community and Technical College announced Monday. 

The band — which includes Richie McDonald on guitar and lead vocals, John Rick on base and lead vocals, Michael Britt on lead guitar and lead vocals, Dean Sams on keyboard and background vocals and Keech Rainwater on drums — is touring to promote its new album, "Never Enders." 

Lonestar has charted more than 20 songs on Billboard's Hot Country Songs chart, including No. 1 singles such as "No News," "Come Cryin' to Me," "Amazed," and "Smile," among others. "Amazed" also reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. 

WKCTC says the concert will be at 7:30 p.m. on Sept. 9, and tickets are $30 for non-student adults and $15 for students and children. Tickets can be ordered by calling the Clemens Center Box Office at 270-534-3212 or online at artsinfocus.org.
