Mercy Regional EMS recognized by American Heart Association

Mercy Regional EMS was recently recognized by the American Heart Association for its work saving lives in the community. 

Mercy received the the 2016 American Heart Association Mission: Lifeline EMS Performance Achievement Award because it scored 75 percent or higher for compliance on EMS quality measures for 24 months, according to the American Heart Association. It's one of 16 Kentucky EMS agencies to get the award. It achieved the Gold Performance Achievement Award.

In a message to Mercy, the AHA says it is "celebrating lives saved because of the hard work and dedication of Mercy Regional EMS. The communities served by Mercy Regional EMS should be very proud of their prehospital care professionals."
