Two arrested in Marshall County in drug trafficking investigation

MARSHALL COUNTY, KY -

A man and a woman were arrested Thursday in Marshall County in connection to a methamphetamine trafficking investigation, the Marshall County Sheriff's Department says. 

The Marshall County Sheriff's Department says the arrests were made as part of a joint investigation with the McCracken County Sheriff's Department. 

Investigators say a warrant search of a home on Denver Lane in Benton, Kentucky, lead to the seizure of 5 pounds of meth, a loaded handgun, digital scales, drug paraphernalia and a small amount of marijuana. 

Detectives arrested Jeff Fox of Marshall County and Jennifer Souder of Princeton. The two were jailed in the Marshall County Detention Center. 

Fox was charged with first degree trafficking of more than 2 grams of meth on the first offense, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon. 

Souder was charged with first degree possession of meth on the first offense, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
