Traffic stop leads to arrest on drug charges for Graves County man

A traffic stop on Old Mayfield Road in McCracken County led to an arrest on drug charges for a Graves County man.

McCracken County deputies conducted a stop on a Silver 1989 Chevrolet Truck in the 5900 block of Old Mayfield Road.  Deputies say Darren Williams, 27, of Symsonia and Kenneth Williams, 53, also of Symsonia KY were in the truck and found Williams was in violation of his parole.  Williams was released on parole for meth possession.

Deputies found baggies of marijuana throughout in the truck and a sawed off shotgun.  Deputies say he is a convicted felon stemming from his prior charges.  He was arrested and charged with several offenses including possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Kenny Williams was found in possession of marijuana and was cited to court.
