Here are six things to know for today.

Charlotte, North Carolina is quiet this morning following violent protests overnight. People were protesting the deadly shooting of a man on Tuesday.

The officer involved in a deadly shooting in Tulsa, Oklahoma is on paid administrative leave. That officer shot and killed Terrence Crutcher because she said she felt threatened when he reached into his car window during his arrest.

Federal charges have been filed against the man police say is responsible for a string of bombings in New York and New Jersey. Ahmad Rahami is still in the hospital after he was injured in a shootout with police.

At least 19 people have died in Indonesia because of flooding and landslides. Search and rescue crews are still searching and evacuating people.

Hillary Clinton is outspending Donald Trump on the campaign trail. Her campaign alone has spent more than $96 million on ads during the general election, compared to just over $17 million for the Trump campaign.

Barbecue on the River starts tomorrow in downtown Paducah, but there are still road closures that are in place today. The roads have been closed to facilitate the setup of the event. You can see which roads are closed by clicking here.
