Reward offered for information about guns stolen from West Tennessee store
ATOKA, Tenn. (AP) -
Authorities are offering a $5,000 reward for information concerning the theft of about 21 firearms from a gun shop in West Tennessee.
The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives said in a news release Monday that the guns were reported stolen Sept. 27 from McFarland's Gun Shop in Atoka, a town located 30 miles northeast of Memphis.
ATF is offering the reward in the amount of up to $2,500 for information leading to an arrest and conviction in the case. That amount will be matched by the National Shooting Sports Foundation, the trade association for the firearms industry.
