Here are six things to know for today.

You can cast your vote on whether to allow alcohol sales in Barlow and the Cecil area of McCracken county. The polls are open until 6:00 p.m. The Cecil precinct votes at the McCracken County Road Department building on Coleman Road. Voters in Barlow cast their ballot at city hall.

Your help is needed to find a women wanted on charges related to a stolen trailer. McCracken County Sheriff's deputies believe Marty Hartfelder may still be in the area.

Hurricane Matthew has killed at least four people. The category four storm has reached winds near 145 miles per hour. The hurricane has made landfall in Haiti. States on the east coast in the U.S. could also be impacted.

You can watch the first and only vice presidential debate on WPSD Local 6 starting at 8:00 p.m. The debate between Republican nominee Mike Pence and Democratic nominee Tim Kaine will be held in Virginia.

Broadband providers will be able to participate in a program that offers subsidized service to low income households starting December 1st. The lifeline program subsidizes wireless, cable, DSL, or fiber optic. Subsidies will remain limited to one per household.

A Connecticut school district is banning clown costumes and any "symbols of terror" during this year's Halloween season as authorities investigate the authenticity of a number of clown-related social media posts. School officials say there's no indication the incident poses any real threat to students at this time.
