The Tar River in North Carolina is expected to crest today. 9,000 people are being kept away from their homes and the governor is urging those homeowners to take those evacuations seriously. Hurricane Matthew has claimed 33 lives in the U.S.

General Motors plans to hire 650 people at its plant near Nashville. The company will fill the spots by the end of the year.

Rebecca Ann Lewis was reunited with her family on Tuesday. She is the girl from an Amber Alert on Monday. Rebecca was taken by a man who was once a friend of the family. There is still no word on why he wanted to take her.
