Here are six things to know for today.

A vigil will be held for 15-year-old Trinity Gay tonight. She is the daughter of Olympic track star Tyson Gay. Police say Gay was shot and killed outside a restaurant in Lexington, Kentucky Sunday morning. Two people have been arrested in connection to her death.

Fire crews are battling two fires near Reno, Nevada. The fires are 55% contained. Twenty-two homes have been destroyed and 500 others remain in the fire's path. Mandatory evacuations are still in place.

A former Penn State employee's lawsuit goes to trial today. Mike McQueary testified in 2012 against football coach Jerry Sandusky. McQueary lost his job after the accusations against Sandusky came to light.

The fight to retake Mosul from ISIS is happening now. Iraq's military and the country's Kurdish forces are on the move to the south and east of the ISIS-held city of Mosul.

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans to close a section of KY 732 in Calloway County today. The closure is happening between the 4 and 5 mile marker.

Authorities are investigating after a Republican party office in North Carolina was set on fire Sunday. No one was injured and the office is expected to open today. So far there are no suspects in custody.
