The Trigg County Coroner's Office is investigating a deadly UTV crash.

Investigators responded to the 100 block of Monarch Street off Shine Lane in Trigg County Friday, July 28 at 7:50 PM.

They found Jamie Hodges, 34 of Cottontown, TN.

Mrs. Hodges was driving the UTV and was ejected from the car, pronounced dead at the scene from blunt force trauma to the head and chest.

Kentucky State Police say its unknown how Hodges lost control of the UTV, but she was not wearing ahelmet or seatbelt at the time of the crash and alcohol is believed to be a contributing factor.

There were two other people on the UTV at the time, and both were uninjured.

Hodges and her husband and parents have a vacation home in the Lake Barkley Blue Springs area of Trigg County.
