This was the sign we were given at 06:30 this morning while we were lining up for the free dental service!! It was a sign of the good that was beginning inside the building.
I was one of the participants. I was #137 and was seen right after a short lunch break the dentist/volunteers took. It was a sign of the good that was beginning inside the building.
I was touched by the caring in each and every individual volunteers and even those in line with me. 6 of us shared an umbrella. I didn't know anyone when I got there but we quickly made new friends and helped each other out.
My only disappointment was that more "local" dentist didn't respond .... we had volunteers from CA, CO and other areas of KY.
I was told that they had dble the help recently in Oklahoma.... why couldn't our local dentist help out with this much needed cause?!!
It really touched my heart for these kind dentist and (wife) to reach out to help the community in a way only they could have done. In this day of time/trouble it really warms the heart to see someone care. I was of course one to leave with tears in my eyes! they were all GREAT!!!! deserve any/all recocgnition.
